 The HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) is the newest generation of the
StorageWorks Disk Array that builds upon the advantages of virtualization technology.
The EVA is a high performance, high capacity, and highly available "virtual" RAID
storage solution for the high-end enterprise class marketplace that removes the time,
space, and cost boundaries of traditionally architected storage. The EVA is designed
for the data center where critical needs for both improved storage utilization rates
and high scalability requirements exist. The EVA can accomplish these while also
meeting application specific demands for high transaction I/O and MB data rate performance,

 The Scalar 1000 is a high-performance, scalable tape library with integrated storage
networking support. A budget-friendly choice, the library reduces total cost of ownership
( TCO ) in high-growth environments. The Scalar 1000 grows easily and economically,
scaling from 118 tapes to more than a thousand. Unlike other libraries, its unique
barrier-free expansion eliminates the use of pass-through ports-maintaining performance
and reliability as the system scales. To provide better backup in storage networks,
the Scalar 1000 features management services that ease installation and diagnostics,
enhance security and availability, and make data management more efficient. These
tools include serverless backup, single-view connectivity, a built-in SAN firewall,
